Curious House - Hand-Painted Lampshades w/ Jane McCall
figuring out what I want to do
I’ve spent years trying to work out what makes my heart sing and doesn’t make me tense. After a few weeks of coaching with my coach Jessica Dance (who is life-changing btw), I figure out that I wanted to bridge the gap between creativity and adventure. That bridge = interiors/painting. And I wanted to be unapologetic about it.
I think I first found Jane McCall on Instagram and then Curious House through her. Naturally I knew that lampshades was an amazing way to break into the decorative arts, and I immediately knew the timing was aligned. So I booked the course straight away. This is how I usually work. I wait until the timing of something feels right, not forced, then follow my gut to pursue that thread. It’s always right.
I hope you enjoy this little visual diary of my day there. It was as magical as it looked and I have since done two more courses with Curious House and hope to do more!
