Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas for Photographers

Christmas is literally around the corner and let’s face it, we have all, at some point left things until the last minute, especially when we don’t know what to buy for someone. I’m here to tell you that these are some gifts that Photographers will love, but that to be honest anyone will love not just photographers. Also... why shouldn’t you also treat yourself?? DO IT! You deserve it. Here is a super simple guide to all things fun and photography. I’ve even linked them up for you so you can order them asap.

Merry Christmas! :)

For Anyone but photographers will especially love

  • Polaroids and instant film are BACK IN!! To me they aren’t just a trend, they are the best way to capture and keep a memory. They also make you a better photographer because you think about what you are photographing as each shot effectively costs money. Polaroid have brought out a new Polaroid Camera with all the trimmings and awesome new features. Great for kids or adults and anyone beyond and in between. Polaroid One Step 2 in White or Black

  • Polaroid Film

  • Instax Mini 90 (brown or black) or cheaper Instax mini. I have the Mini 90 in Black and it goes with me EVERYWHERE (I interchange it with the Leica No. 4) I love it so much. I the Starbucks so I can shoot more film. :)

  • Leica Sofort - more expensive than the Mini 90 but it is because of the brand name. It has a selfie mode but other than that the settings are pretty much the same as the mini 90. You only need to purchase this if you really want to, or you want to have the name in your arsenal because actual Leica cameras are so expensive!! So in comparison, they are quite affordable for the Leica brand.

  • Instax Mini film: colour or black and white. There are also some really cute coloured, character frames. But I tend to stick with these two!

For the Pros

  • Sony SRS-XB20 Water Resistant Speakers. Perfect size to take on photo shoots, for the shower (for private dance time), and if it rains/snows.

  • For Digital Photographers: Memory cards 32GB, 62GB These make great presents, even though it might not seem like it, because Memory cards are vital to a digital photographers work and can be expensive.

  • For Film Photographers: Film is a great gift as it can start adding up to buy film ourselves, yet it is what we live for. If you know what camera they have then refer to the below for links to each type of film.
