As I pull off the windy country road, I turn into a tree-lined never-ending driveway. Leaves fall around me and the sun sets to the west. The smell of a freshly lit fire somewhere on the grounds wafts towards me. I feel calm knowing crisp cold air awaits me when I step out of my car and in turn a warm welcoming entrance. Feeling grateful for a getaway.

As Autumn hits I crave going away to experience the changes of the season in picturesque settings surrounded by design-led interiors for inspiration. I tend to travel also based on where the best food and nature excursions are for restoration, relaxation and nourishment. Any spa’s that may also exist are a bonus! :p
