Simplifying my process

Anyone that knows me knows that streamlining my life and creating more ease is how I roll. The Høvel does just that. Combining function with a beautiful aesthetic, it’s a winner. I love the manual feeling of this practice. Meditative, to say the least. As you may know, traditional pencil sharpeners break the lead easily. This can be due to many factors, and I am not one for being too precious with my pencils, but they do drop, and the leads break. It happens.

The pencil tip glides every so nicely over the blade (it comes with replacements, too) and gives a gorgeous pointed finish with rough edges. It seems less corporate in a way, more organic and artistic, just the way I like it!
