the Struggle To Pause

I struggle with pausing. I want to push past the pain or the task. I want to carry on. I tell myself it’s better this way. But the reality is different.

My challenge today is how many pauses can I fit in or take in this day?

Usually, I say “I'll just do a little bit more…”, “I'll pause later when I finish this task…” or “I’ll lose my idea, what if I don’t get it back?” Clue: it always does if it’s meant to be." 😜

No. Today I want to change this behaviour.

“Pause in the middle of the task and the task will suddenly move more smoothly, imbued with the spirit of the pause. You can only pause now. Not in future.” - Richard Rudd.

I hope you can find pause in your day too. x
