Stay Hydrated With Bkr
We all have that one drink that is an integral part of our day, be it tea, coffee, juice. Mine is water. For a long time, I wasn’t able to find a suitable, well-designed water bottle that was to my taste and suited my requirements. After much research, I went for the bkr bottle and haven’t looked back since. Drinking water has become something I not only remember to do but enjoy doing. Want to know why? Read on.
Why bkr?
Design: Sleek, understated, minimalistic yet robust.
Colour: Soft and less jarring to look at than other brands. Mine is the 500ml in “tutu”
Material: Glass. For me, water tastes better than plastic or metal, but this is down to personal preference. Glass is also easily cleaned and has no chemicals. A silicone sleeve protects the glass from any clumsy falls (something I frequently do). This also helps protect the bottle when it‘s in your bag.
Improved lifestyle: The above attribute to my belief in intentionally choosing the things you surround yourself with. Everyday objects can elevate your life if they are things that you love. This bottle may seem like “just a bottle” to some, but to me, it's more than that.
It’s eye candy when perched on my desk or around my home
At home: I no longer have empty glasses lying all over the place.
On the go: the weight reminds me to take a sip because I can feel it in my bag. My friend, who is a singer, reiterated this after borrowing it for the day. Initially, she thought it might be a downside but became grateful when the slight weight became a gentle reminder to drink. As you can imagine, as a singer, staying hydrated is a must.
Note: If you carry a lot during the day then this may not be the right bottle for you. I carry the bare minimum in my day-to-day, so I already have a light load that this doesn’t add to.
I am proud to display it, so it’s always in my eye-line, reminding me to take a sip naturally. Essentially, it has become an organic and gentle reminder for me to drink water throughout the day.
Elevate Your Everyday
As I mentioned before, by surrounding ourselves beauty and the things we love, it elevates our lifestyle. This can improve our productivity, creativity and mood. To me, this bottle is what an Italian coffee machine or Japanese coffee pourer is to someone else. It becomes a part of your routine, and because you cherish the object, you, in turn, take pride and joy in your habit.
Hot Drink Alternatives
