How to do the work

“As a clinical psychologist, Dr Nicole LePera found herself frustrated by the limitations of traditional psychotherapy. Wanting more for her patients - and for herself - she began a journey to develop a united philosophy of mental, physical and spiritual health that equips people with the tools necessary to heal themselves. After experiencing the life-changing results herself, she began to share what she'd learned with others - and The Holistic Psychologist was born.” - Taken from the book

How I’ve used it

— I first picked this up during the pandemic or thereabouts, after a breakup and I was completely broken. Not just from the breakup, but was struggling with things at home, in work, feeling trapped and not being able to travel etc etc. I’m curious by nature and a day doesn’t go by where I am not learning something towards bettering myself. I had always been so stumped with knowing what I wanted to achieve or that I wanted to heal and unblock, but even after extensive therapy over many years, I still felt like I was missing answers. More accurately I was missing the tools on what to do as I was healing. This book was a game-changer in understanding that and then some. To tangibly break things down literally “how to do the work”, it felt like I was finally getting somewhere.
