How to find your biggest block

to be magnetic lacy phillips summer challenge 2024 manifestation find your biggest block

Last week, I posted about the fear of showing up, yet knowing the value and necessity of showing up (read that post here). Launching the LBB has been the biggest joy, but also a vulnerable process — to some extent it’s the nature of this work, creating something new and launching it into the world without a guide or example of what that process looks like. It’s a kind of playground for any blocks around showing up and being truly seen by others; all those human emotions come to the surface.Body of text goes here

Being in alignment

In recent conversations with friends, thoughts around manifestation keep coming up, specifically surrounding living in alignment and listening to our intuition, and the need to navigate the mental blocks that bring fear and resistance into that process.

Alignment can work in many ways, including paying attention to and discovering the right tool at the right time, then taking aligned action. One of the tools I’m reaching for at the moment is To Be Magnetic (where I learnt about Aligned Action), a resonating example of right-thing-right time with the arrival of their 5-week summer challenge happening at the exact time I know I need to practice the work, and conversations with friends leading to promises to keep each other accountable and supported through it.

Undoing blocks

I’ve enrolled in To Be Magnetic for years, dipping in and out when I’ve needed it. Based around a new school of thought of manifestation, To Be Magnetic is about unblocking your sub-conscience to fully embody, believe and allow manifestation to happen. It isn’t about wishing for things out of thin air and sitting on your couch reciting affirmations thinking things just happen, but doing that inner psychological work to enable you work through your blocks for those manifestations to come through.

Unblocking is the foundation of manifestation. All of us have a core block that holds us back, and once you find and work to unblock that, there is a natural domino effect of unblocking the others that stem from that. It’s a continuous process, and one that can be daunting to start.

For those who are curious in manifestation, but a little skeptical of the more woo-woo side, TBM is a brilliant place to start, interweaving science in exploring how to work with our nervous system, neural pathways and held beliefs to learn how to live in alignment, and put into practice the work.

Tools for navigating

There is an overwhelming amount of programmes, tools and wisdom out there, which is where the LBB comes in, collecting places to start, so that you can discover what feels aligned for you to begin to do the work as and when you choose to do so.

Over many years I’ve built a toolkit and language for myself for navigating these times, continually doing the work so I can help others in that process too. It’s not about fully getting rid of emotional triggers, but having the toolkit and self-awareness to navigate them when those triggers come up, so they don’t result in the stagnancy of being completely halted by our blocks.
