Nervous System reset

A nervous system reset for anyone that needs it. These are 3 of some of the things I come back to when I've burnt out and feel dysregulated.

  1. Grounding Meditation (any will do - find one on YouTube, Insight Timer, any other app you have)

  2. Open 1-Day Nervous System Reset or Series (my favourite)

  3. Nature (ground yourself into the earth to recalibrate.)

Make the Nervous System Reset work for you. Permission to switch it up.

This is what I do:

  1. One session from Open 31-day Nervous System Rest Series first thing before I get out of bed. A non-negotiable.

  2. As many sessions I can do from Open 1-Day Nervous System Reset. (I skip the movement because I do step 3...)

  3. One session from any of the Manuela Mitevova Programmes mid-afternoon, after a bath or before bed.

For more intense care for your nervous system I also have been loving this 2-week Fascia Miracle by Erin Tietz. I go more into depth in this post in the LBB.

If you miss a day or get off track, so do I. Be gentle. Be kind. X

Hikarui is a lifestyle blog with a studio extension that offers an alternative take on “wellness” – one that is deeply inspired by Japanese essentialism and wabi sabi philosophy. It teaches readers how to create their own “getaway space” from modern stressors through diary-style prose and lifestyle advice that promotes “lightweight living.” The studio extension showcases Chikae O.H.’s illustrations and photography.
